 Incredible Playworkers needed! 

 Part-time Play-worker to work with children and young people with additional needs and their siblings.
 
Incredible Kids is a charity supporting children and young people with additional needs and disabilities alongside their families. The charity runs play and support sessions helping families to have fun, play, make friends, get support and reduce social isolation. We want to make a difference to families. 
 
The role: 
 
Incredible Kids is looking for a new playworker to work alongside our new centre manager to develop new sessions for families that have children and young people with additional needs. Working part time to help run sessions and help children and young people with disabilities or additional needs to play and have fun. You will be instrumental in working with out centre manager to plan and develop our new sessions working with all ages of young people from age 0 to 25. The ideal candidate will care about the work of Incredible Kids, will have a good sense of humour, lots of enthusiasm, energy and patience.

  • Experience of working with young people with additional needs

Wage: £8.50 / hour

Hours of work:

Your hours of work may include the following:

Term time:

Mondays 4pm to 8pm

Thursdays 3pm to 6.30pm;

Fridays 9.30am to 1pm;

Saturdays 12.30pm-6pm and  Second and Third Saturdays each month 9am–6pm

 School Holidays:

Mondays 12.30pm – 6pm

Thursday 3pm-6pm;

Fridays 12.30pm – 6pm;

Saturdays 12.30pm-6pm and Second and Third Saturdays each month with extended hours 9am–6pm to include our specialist sessions.

You may also be requested to attend some training days, which are arranged throughout the year.
